The benefits of having a snow day are that you get an unexpected break from your normal routine, you get to stay in your pj's without judgment, and you get a little extra time with your family. The downside is that it's short lived. Boo! An extra downer for this particular snow day? I ended up with a monster cold and now can't breathe. I've also awoken with a voice like Ursula from Little Mermaid. Perfect.

You'd never know from this clip, which shows them radiantly beaming and holding each other in a loving embrace, that the second the song was over they were yelling and crying and hitting each other. You'd almost call me a liar, right?
They have their moments of tenderness nestled among the taunting and terrorizing. I try my best to capture those moments on camera as often as possible to serve as proof as they get older that were indeed sweet to each other sometimes.
