This no-fail, your-taste-buds-will-thank-you recipe is sure to set a standard in your home for fall baking.
INGREDIENTS
3 1/3 cups of all purpose flour
3 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 can pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie mix)
Preheat oven to 350. Add first 5 ingredients in large mixing bowl. Make sure to mix well. Add eggs, pumpkin and oil. (Add chocolate chips for extra goodness.) Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour 1/2 of mixture into greased loaf pan (you'll have enough to bake two loaves) and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Your house will smell wonderful. Your family will thank you. Your friends and neighbors will think you are a domestic goddess...because you ARE! Duh!
